Our Story: Amish Heritage Passed Down Through Generations
Esh’s Storage Barns was founded in 1984 by Levi Esh on his family’s farm in rural Pennsylvania. In the early days, every shed was hand-built using traditional Amish methods, long before modern equipment was part of the process.
There were no forklifts or tractors, sheds were moved using horses. Levi’s sons, Daniel and Jesse Esh, grew up learning the trade firsthand. One of the earliest responsibilities was hitching a horse to a finished shed and pulling it outside so the next one could begin.
Today, that same tradition continues as the next generation works alongside their fathers, ensuring the craftsmanship and values behind every Esh’s shed are passed down, not outsourced.
