Who we are

Esh’s Storage Barns LLC is the operator of this website. Our business address and phone number are listed on our Contact page. For privacy-related requests (access, deletion, or questions), please contact us through our website contact form.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and tags) to help our website function properly, understand how visitors use our site, and support our advertising and marketing efforts. We may also use third-party cookies and tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand site usage and support advertising, as described below.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We may use:

  • Essential cookies (needed for site functionality)

  • Performance/analytics cookies (to measure site usage and improve performance)

  • Advertising cookies (to help deliver and measure ads, and in some cases show you more relevant ads)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the website may not function properly.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website (for example, pages visited, time on site, device/browser type, approximate location, and referral sources). This information helps us improve our site and services.

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. To learn more about how Google collects and processes data, you can review Google’s information about data practices and policies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (available through Google) or by adjusting your cookie preferences/browser settings.

Google Ads, remarketing, and conversion tracking

We may use Google Ads features such as conversion tracking and remarketing. This means:

  • We may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance (for example, when someone clicks an ad and later submits a form or calls).

  • We may show ads to people who previously visited our website (remarketing), including on Google Search, YouTube, and websites in Google’s advertising network.

Google may associate these technologies with your Google account (if you are logged in) and may use information to personalize ads according to your Google Ads settings.

You can control or opt out of certain Google advertising features by:

  • Adjusting your Google ad personalization settings in your Google account

  • Managing cookies in your browser

  • Using industry opt-out tools (where available)

Information we collect through forms and lead tracking

If you submit information through our contact forms or request a quote, we may collect the details you provide (such as name, email address, phone number, address/location information, and any details about your project). We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide estimates, and communicate with you.

We may also use tracking tools to understand which marketing sources led you to our site or to a form submission (for example, whether you found us through an ad).

Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or would like to request access to or deletion of personal data we may have about you, contact us using the contact information listed on our website.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
