Site Prep Options
Want the easiest route? Our skilled craftsmen can prepare the area where you’d like your shed by leveling the ground, adding pavers, creating the proper foundation, and more. This is a customizable option designed to save you time and work before your Original Esh Shed arrives.
Best for:
- Customers who want a “hands-off” setup
- Sites that need leveling or foundation help
- Anyone unsure how to prep correctly
Next step: Contact us and tell us your shed size + where you want it placed, and we’ll discuss the best site prep plan.
If you’re prepping the site yourself, the customer is responsible for providing a level pad that is accessible with a truck and trailer.
Recommended DIY pad instructions:
- Remove 4–6 inches of topsoil
- Fill with crushed limestone
- Make the pad approximately 1 foot larger than the shed (all sides)
- Use a laser transit to ensure the pad is level
- To minimize settling, the pad should be compacted and/or prepared in advance to allow natural settling
- Our buildings are designed to sit on a solid stone base
- Blocks are highly discouraged
A five-year warranty comes standard on every building starting in 2014. This warranty covers:
- Defects in manufacturing
- Roof leaking
- Workmanship
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Failure to properly maintain your building
Important: Warranty is void if the building is placed on an improper foundation.
Delivery & Shed Relocation
Need to relocate an existing shed? Our experienced team can move your shed for you, for any reason. We handle older sheds with the same care as our brand-new structures.
Common reasons customers move a shed:
- Repositioning the shed after a landscaping or driveway change
- Moving the shed to a new spot on the property for better access
- Preparing for a new shed, garage, or building upgrade
- Relocating a shed you purchased previously (including older structures)
What we’ll need to know to quote and schedule:
- Shed size and approximate condition
- Current location on the property and the new placement location
- Access details (gate width, driveway space, tight turns, slope, trees, or overhead wires)
